Therapeutic Approach/What to Expect:
Adam assists children, adolescents, and adults who are dealing with a variety of counseling needs including emotional and relational difficulties, anxiety, depression, and grief. He also assists couples and individuals who are struggling with marriage and/or parenting difficulties. His therapeutic approach is primarily centered around cognitive behavioral therapy which focuses on having healthy thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. He also sees the benefit of incorporating biblical principles to those who are seeking Christian counseling. Adam works with individuals and families in order to identify and build upon a person or family’s strengths in order to help facilitate positive changes they desire.
Adam and his wife have six children who keep them on their toes. Adam enjoys teaching/coaching his kids in wrestling, tumbling, and other sports. He enjoys serving in his local church and on short term missions. Adam has had the privilege of serving several years on the mission field and various other ministry positions before pursuing his counseling degree.
